1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use and representation of the Certificate of Completion in StretchCare (“the Certificate”) issued by [Stretch Australia ] (“StretchCare”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accepting, displaying, or otherwise utilising the Certificate, you (“you”, “the User”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
This document is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and applicable State and Territory legislation.
2. Purpose and Scope of Certificate
2.1. The Certificate of Completion in StretchCare is not a formal qualification under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
2.2. The Certificate is designed to complement and supplement pre-existing formal qualifications in one or more of the following insured and recognised fields:
- Physiotherapy
- Personal Training
- Massage Therapy
- Allied Health Services
2.3. This Certificate is intended solely as an accessory to prior learning. It is not designed or permitted to be used as a standalone credential for the purposes of:
- Independent client assessment
- Diagnosis of physical or medical conditions
- Prescription of therapeutic interventions
- Advertising oneself as a qualified or accredited practitioner under Australian law
3. Limitations of Use
3.1. The StretchCare Certificate:
- Does not confer the right to practice as a healthcare or fitness professional without appropriate nationally recognised qualifications and insurance;
- Is not registered or accredited by any Australian government training or professional body;
- Must not be presented as a standalone qualification or used to imply unearned expertise.
3.2. Any practical application of techniques learned in the StretchCare course must be within the lawful scope of the User’s existing insured and nationally recognised qualifications.
4. Insurance and Professional Practice
4.1. It is the sole responsibility of the User to ensure that their professional indemnity and/or public liability insurance covers any services provided that incorporate StretchCare techniques.
4.2. StretchCare takes no responsibility for the misuse of the Certificate or course materials, or for any claims arising from unauthorised or unqualified use.
5. Misrepresentation and Consequences
5.1. Any use of the Certificate that misleads clients, employers, regulators, or the general public may constitute professional misconduct, breach of consumer law, or both.
5.2. We reserve the right to revoke Certificates and/or report instances of misuse to relevant industry bodies or authorities.
6. No Guarantee of Employment or Registration
6.1. Completion of the StretchCare course and receipt of the Certificate does not guarantee employment, professional registration, or eligibility for government or health provider rebates.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1. All course materials, branding, and intellectual property remain the exclusive property of StretchCare and may not be copied, distributed, or used outside the terms of this agreement.
8. Governing Law
8.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of that State or Territory.
9. Acceptance of Terms
By using, displaying, or referencing the Certificate of Completion in StretchCare, you acknowledge that:
- You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms;
- You will comply with all relevant professional, legal, and insurance requirements in your practice;
- You understand this Certificate is not a formal or standalone qualification.
